Myrmecology Lab creates and produces some of the highest quality formicaria available. All of our prototypes are tested prior to being released to ensure they make safe and good habitats for ant colonies. The majority of the designs are not only tested by us, but are also sent out to our partners as well for extra measure. We do this to ensure all species of ants thrive in our formicaria. We use only non toxic and safe materials to produce all of our formicaria and accessories.

With over a decade of experience in the hobby of ant keeping, we acknowledge the need for proper setups and the issues individuals in the hobby face when it comes to keeping ants as pets. As such, we create setups that are both convenient for the ant keeper and the ants.

Myrmecology Lab not only produces high end formicaria, but we also have some of the lowest prices in the hobby. We are able to do this through a network of partnerships with other companies and enthusiasts. We are able to pay significantly less on materials than most individuals would, which in return saves our customers money.
